The aim was to craft a cohesive brand image that seamlessly connects Jetty and Marine, Pier 21, Pelagic, and Rottnest Barge Service, having all these businesses linked under the Pelagic Group.

Pelagic Group wanted to create a unified and elevated brand, weaving together the rich histories and unique strengths of its four subsidiaries. By crafting a compelling narrative that showcases each entity, we highlighted their specialties and how they seamlessly integrate into the larger group.
The mission was clear: to create a consistent identity that reflects Pelagic Group’s commitment to quality, expertise, and innovative solutions. This rebranding initiative involved developing new websites and style guides, ensuring everything from signage to uniforms aligns with the refreshed vision. The goal was to enhance market visibility, reinforce the brand’s presence, and increase awareness among key stakeholders, especially in government.
Our Approach
- Creating the online experience: To elevate Pelagic Group’s corporate profile, we created a unified website with dedicated sections for each subsidiary with a clean and modern homepage showcasing all businesses. Each site included clear calls-to-action (CTAs) like “Request a Quote” and “Schedule a Consultation” to drive lead generation. We also utilised LinkedIn as a key platform for B2B communication, sharing regular updates, project highlights, and industry insights to engage a professional audience.
- The re-brand: We positioned Pelagic Group as the parent company to enhance awareness while allowing its subsidiaries—JMC, Rottnest Barge Service, The Boathouse, and Pier 21—to maintain their unique identities. This rebranding included a revamped corporate profile, updated logos, and a comprehensive style guide. We installed new signage at all offices and introduced fresh uniforms and promotional items. Each subsidiary’s website reflected Pelagic Group branding while catering to its specific audience, using a consistent design language with tailored content and imagery.
- SEO Optimisation:We implemented SEO best practices to ensure high visibility in search engines, focusing on keywords related to marine construction, logistics, and transport services. Each month, we compile an SEO report for Jetty and Marine Constructions.
